Last year, ANS launched their meANS Christmas mission in aid of their partner charity, The Factory Youth Zone. The charitable event was devised in an effort to provide gifts for local disadvantaged young people in order make their Christmas morning that extra bit special.
On Friday 23rd December, four members of the ANS CSR team and a mini bus full of 200+ presents made the journey to the Factory Youth Zone in Harpurhey.
Phil Ascott, Development Manager at The Factory Youth Zone, said: “ANS is one of our leading founding patrons. Every year we are bowled over with their fundraising efforts. meANS Christmas is an amazing campaign and the generous contributions from ANS employees mean that our members will receive an added surprise this year!”
ANS’ COO, Paul Shannon said, “meANS Christmas was an overwhelming success last year so doing it again was a no-brainer. This year we were passionate about delivering the presents to the Factory Youth Zone ourselves and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere in the room was amazing; their faces lit up when they saw the mountain of presents arriving.”
ANS are always looking for fun, innovative but most importantly effective ways to support their chosen charities. They have made a huge commitment to supporting future generations both through their fundraising efforts but also through their on-going work with initiatives like the ANS Apprentice Academy.
