ANS are delighted to announce they have been named the 18th best company to work for in the UK at the Sunday Times Best Companies Awards 2018 which took place at Battersea Evolution, London. ANS also scooped up the maximum 3-star accreditation at the prestigious ceremony which rates the organisation as ‘extraordinary’.
Paul Shannon, CEO at ANS said of the incredible achievement:
“We’re so proud to have placed inside the top 20 companies for a second consecutive year. This is particularly gratifying since we have just gone through the biggest operational shift in our history. Every individual has embraced a massive cultural change as a positive and invigorating challenge which made our transition successful.
We also received our highest ever response rate to the survey with over 80% of our employees providing feedback. The data we’ve received in response has been absolutely invaluable and will help us to continue building an even better place to work.”
As well as partnering with Ecotricity to completely eliminate their carbon footprint generated by the power supply at their head office in Manchester, ANS donated over £91,000 to charity in 2017. The organisation also set up their own food bank in their office which has already donated enough food to provide 8,056 meals to struggling families in the local area.
“Every year we make a huge commitment to supporting those less fortunate than ourselves through our fundraising efforts and raising awareness. This year we added the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to our list of charity partners which already include the Factory Youth Zone and Forever Manchester.”
The Best Companies accreditation focuses on Workplace Engagement as an integral component of an organisations’ success and growth. This year will mark the organisations’ fifth appearance in the country’s most searching and extensive research into employee engagement.
