ANS is thrilled to announce that the company has been named the 27th best company to work for in the UK at the Sunday Times Best Companies Awards 2019 which took place at Battersea Evolution, London.
ANS also scooped up the maximum 3-star accreditation at the prestigious ceremony which rates the organisation as ‘extraordinary’.
Paul Shannon, CEO at ANS said of the incredible achievement:
“We’re so proud to have placed inside the top 30 companies this year. In 2017, we underwent the biggest operational shift in our history. In 2018, we are still seeing cultural and operational changes, transitioning a business has the potential to cause uncertainty, but the team have managed to build for the future whilst keeping the amazing ANS team spirit.
Over the last year, we have invested heavily in the training and development of our employees as we more than tripled our number of cloud computing certifications. We are passionate about fully focusing on the development of our employees to ensure they have the tools to grow both personally and professionally.”
“We also received our highest ever response rate to the workplace engagement survey with over 83% of our employees providing feedback. The data we’ve received has been absolutely invaluable and will help us to continue building an even better place to work.”
“Every year we make a huge commitment to supporting those less fortunate than ourselves through our fundraising efforts and raising awareness and 2018 was no exception.”
One of their biggest achievements of the past year came in August when 24 brave ANS members took on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise some serious cash for one of their partner charities, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. The team managed to come back in one piece and even raised a whopping £7,700, with all funds going towards the purchase of specialist equipment to diagnose and provide treatment to young patients more quickly and easily.
In summer 2018, ANS rewarded its employees by hosting the first ANS Summer Party, held at Founder, Scott Fletcher’s, home. As a thank you for their hard work and dedication, ANS employees and families enjoyed a Total Wipe Out course, waltzers, free food and bar and a disco to celebrate the summer.
The Best Companies accreditation focuses on Workplace Engagement as an integral component of an organisations’ success and growth. This year will mark the organisations’ sixth appearance in the country’s most searching and extensive research into employee engagement.
