ANS reports its 11th consecutive year of profit growth with the release of its financial results for the 12 months to the 31 March 2015.
This year’s results show that while turnover remained constant at £47m (2014: £47m) the business has continued it’s shift towards delivering higher margin managed services which is evidenced in this set of results. EBITDA increased by 20.8% to £5.8m (2014: £4.8m) and Profit before Tax increased 22.1% to £5.2m (2014: £4.3m).
Managed services contracted gross profit has increased 35% to £7.3m (2014: £5.4m) and this continues to be the strongest growth area of the business and typically involves long-term contracts and recurring revenues.
Paul Sweeney, CEO commented “Our Fully Managed Infrastructure Service saw the biggest area of growth as the company continues to deliver world class standards of service management in this area. Further investment has been made to ensure that the data centre and network capacity is geared for growth and that all of our team are equipped to meet the high serviceability needs of our customers’ critical systems.”
ANS have enjoyed significant new business wins in both public and private sector from organisations such as: Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Maritime & Coastguard Agency, Salford City Council, Greencore Group, Opus Energy and First Choice Housing Association.
Significantly, they won a place on the Crown Commercial Services frameworks for IT Products and Services as well as the G-Cloud framework enabling them to tender for public sector business, on which they have had a number of successful wins.
The launch of their RAPID Private Cloud solution which is delivered factory built on FlexPod Technology, has seen ANS yet again be awarded Converged Infrastructure Partner of the year by NetApp. RAPID was successfully launched across the regions to an audience of IT leaders and CIO’s. The solution enables organisation to realise value faster with deployment time reduced to a third.
RAPID promises to allow IT teams, within all industries, to develop, modernise and deploy their business applications faster, ultimately reducing their time to realise value.
