ANS win big at VMworld Europe

This week ANS fought off fierce competition to scoop up Best Hybrid Cloud Implementation for their project with Skipton Building Society at VMworld Europe 2015, Barcelona. The three day event featured the highly coveted VMworld Europe User Awards 2015 hosted by Computer Weekly and

ANS’ case study partnership Skipton Building Society cinched the win for the Managed Services and Hybrid Cloud provider. ANS’ data centre transformation and private cloud project with the building society helped to bridge the gap between Skipton’s business strategy and technology requirements. The project combined an innovative infrastructure platform with ANS’ award-winning support services in order to deliver a solution that doesn’t just fulfil a gap in the IT environment but actually helps to deliver on a wider business strategy.

Entrants were judged upon the ability to successfully demonstrate capability in the following areas: innovation in technology or business processes; improving IT management capabilities; improving business efficiency or reducing costs, demonstrating best practice and delivering measurable business benefits.

Paul Sweeney, CEO at ANS, said:

“We are always proud to be recognised by our partners and the industry for our successes, but this award is particularly meaningful for us as it reflects our strength in delivering outstanding services and innovation to our customers. The award win is a reflection of current trends within the marketplace. IT is in the midst of a dramatic shift to the mobile-cloud era, one in which IT services can be consumed on-demand across the enterprise and in hybrid and public clouds. Skipton Building Society can feel safe in the knowledge that their infrastructure will be supported by our award winning Managed Services team. We have over 300 customers ranging from household brands to major government departments who all benefit from our 24x7x365 Managed Service.”

ANS joined other business and technology professionals, VMware experts and executives at this year’s VMWorld to come to together to share the stories of successes over the last year, learn from each other and inspire each other to realise greater achievements in virtualization.
