ANS meets rigorous security requirements to join MISA.

Against a backdrop of increasing cyber threats, ANS Group has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of technology providers who have integrated their solutions with Microsoft products to provide customers better protection, detection, and response.

ANS, a leading provider of digital transformation and cloud services, joins other UK Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) approved by Microsoft to become MISA members.

In addition to joining MISA, ANS has achieved the Microsoft Gold Security Competency, having fulfilled a set of rigorous performance requirements.

ANS supports thousands of businesses, from SMB to enterprise, in transforming and securing their digital estate. The company offers public and private cloud alongside a range of Microsoft security products including Microsoft Sentinel as well as bespoke solutions built in-house.

ANS CTO Joe Wolski commented: “Security has never been a more critical issue for our customers. Ransomware in 2021 cost businesses an estimated $20bn and people are now beginning to give the issue the level of time and investment it requires.

“At ANS we’ve been investing in security for many years to ensure that, whether our customers are on private or public cloud, they get the same service and the same level of protection from cyber threats. This recognition from Microsoft demonstrates that we’re making a real difference to customers on the ground.”

ANS Group was formed in 2022 following the merger of two of the biggest cloud names in the UK market – ANS and UKFast – combining the strengths of both businesses under one brand.

Microsoft Intelligent Security Association Lead Maria Thomson added: “The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem comprised of the most reliable and trusted security software vendors across the globe. Our members, like ANS Group, share Microsoft’s commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers’ ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster.”
