TVS Supply Chain Solutions Choose ANS to deliver Intelligent WAN
ANS has been chosen by TVS Supply Chain Solutions, a global supply chain management and logistics specialist, to deliver their new intelligent Wide Area Network (IWAN) and agile Business Continuity.
TVS SCS deliver planning, procurement, storage and distribution of equipment and suppliers across a range of industries and has recently been chosen to play a central role in the transformation of the UK military’s commodity logistics and procurement capabilities as part of a new £6.5 billion outsourcing contract.
The new network and datacentre design will see ANS replace the existing TVS SCS traditional network with a next generation Intelligent WAN to their 20 locations and an Agile IP enabled DR solution. This will provide Non-Disruptive Operations across their network and datacentre estate; ensuing critical applications are consistently available.
Nisar Raja, Technology Manager at TVS SCS, said this about choosing ANS: ” From the initial engagement with ANS, it was obvious they were offering more than a traditional ‘speeds and feeds’ design. Adding intelligence into the network and infrastructure will allow us to have greater viability and understanding of how applications are performing while delivering a simplified DR approach.
This allows the IT team to consistently deliver our business the service they require and in turn provide accurate, time-bound supply and logistics requirements to our customers”.
Russell Crowley, Director of Sales at ANS, says: “This is a significant customer win for ANS. Overlay networks such as intelligent WAN and Agile IP are a huge leap forward in our industry and TVS SCS are one of a growing number of customers to take advantage of these new technologies. We are seeing substantial demand for these types of solutions as our customers begin to understand the enormous benefits they can deliver.”
Why you need to advance your data strategy
The financial services industry, like many other industries, have grand plans for digital transformation. A key part of this digital transformation is data & analytics.
Why Data should be the lifeblood of your organisation
When data is used effectively it empowers organisations to make decisions based on facts, trends, and statistical numbers. With data volumes growing exponentially, it’s now becoming increasingly more difficult to locate and surface the right information to be able to make better decisions about strategy and growth.
