meANS Christmas. 200 presents donated this Christmas!
This week saw ANS donate 200 plus gifts to their charity partner The Factory Youth Zone. The charitable event named ‘meANS Christmas’ was devised in an effort to raise gifts for children from deprived areas, many of which may not receive any presents this Christmas.
The Managed Service Provider invited The Factory Youth Zone into their Manchester offices to enjoy festive fun with Christmas jumper day and take part in the gift donation.
COO Paul Shannon said of the fundraising activity: At ANS we’re always looking for fun, innovative but most importantly effective ways to support The Factory Youth Zone so when it came to deciding on how to support our charity partners this Christmas, meANS Christmas was a no-brainer. At ANS we understand the importance of young people within our community and jumped at the opportunity to help make their Christmas extra special. ANS has made a huge commitment to supporting future generations both through its fundraising efforts but also through its on-going work with initiatives like the apprentice academy.”
Earlier this year ANS celebrated 20 years in business with a spectacular ANS ball, dedicated to charity partner The Factory Youth Zone, for whom ANS has raised more than £110,000 since 2011.
It was a special night for The Factory Youth Zone as donations, raffles and a dedicated auction helped pass the £15,000 2015 target for the Harpurhey charity.
Phil Ascott, of The Factory Youth Zone, said: “ANS came on board in 2011 as one of our Founder Patrons. Each year they have gone above and beyond with their fundraising efforts and this year’s meANS Christmas is just another way in which they support not only us, but the young people who we work with every day.”
