Paul Shannon

Chief Executive Officer

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry including 5 years in technical leadership positions. As Chief Executive, Paul is responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and implementing the company’s short and long term goals.

Having joined ANS in 2009, Paul has progressed through the business, covering technical roles in both the pre-sales and operational areas of the organisation, giving him an exceptionally well-rounded understanding of the company, its people and customers. A strong emphasis on customers has led Paul to become a key stakeholder in ongoing executive relationships.

Paul was appointed the role of COO in 2014, taking operational accountability for customer and supplier contract negotiations and all legal aspects of the business. As well as driving the group’s Managed Services propositions, he has had strategic involvement in many of the key transformation milestones in ANS history.  Paul has also been the driving force behind the company’s Living Wage accreditation. He is the executive sponsor of the ANS Corporate Social Responsibility Team and is accountable for the highly regarded ANS Apprentice Academy.

Having proved himself as an outstanding COO across multiple disciplines including that of operations, legal and finance, Paul was appointed Chief Executive in January 2017.
