Police Crisis & Negotiation Technology Webinar

Thursday 24th June 2021

We’d like to invite you to join us on Thursday 24th June 2021 at 3pm, for our Police Crisis & Negotiation Technology webinar.

The event will focus on how crisis & negotiation teams can improve communications when dealing with incidents. During the event, we will host a panel discussion with guest speaker, Rach Higson, Detective Inspector at the Digital Investigation and Cyber Crime Unit at Lancashire Constabulary. Rach will talk about how they are working on a proof of concept for a world-first negotiator application to enable them to reduce the multiple communication channels used in incident recording and the amount of time offers spend compiling evidence on the incident.

This will be followed by a short demonstration of the application by ANS’ Solutions Architect, Adrian Woodrup who will show you how the application enables you to quickly and easily search for previous incidents, store all recordings in one location, transcribe recordings, edit transcripts and add data to recordings to build a profile.

We will then open the floor to invite you to discuss current challenges Police Forces face within crisis & negotiation teams and how you are dealing and recording incidents currently.

Towards the end of the event, we will host a Q&A session to get your thoughts and opinions on the digital you think would enhance the field.

During this event, you will learn:

  • How crisis & negotiation teams across the country are currently dealing with and recording incidents and the most common challenges faced
  • How the ANS Police Negotiator App can help to keep communication channels open, how it works and how you can take advantage of this technology
  • How Lancashire Constabulary are using ANS’ Negotiator app to enable them to improve efficiency in crisis and negotiation incidents
  • Why data & predictive analytics can help avert crisis and negotiation incidents
