Double Award Win for ANS!

Yesterday evening ANS were recognised for outstanding FlexPod performance at Insight Berlin 2015. The FlexPod Premium Partner Recognition Program acknowledges partners that have demonstrated outstanding sales and growth. With over 1,500 partners selling FlexPod today, this special recognition has distinguished ANS as a FlexPod leader.

ANS were invited to attend the Second Annual NetApp FlexPod Premium Partner Recognition Awards Reception in Berlin. ANS joined other business and technology professionals, NetApp experts and executives to come to together to share the stories of successes over the last year, learn from each other and inspire each other to realise greater achievements in FlexPod. Guests were entertained in VIP style, whilst enjoying incredible views of Berlin.

An independent panel recognised ANS for their strong development, innovation and continued improvement of their Support Services delivery as evidenced by customer satisfaction data. ANS has worked extensively on customer fitness and has invested heavily into NetApp knowledge sharing events like Insight.

2015 has been a stand-out year for ANS in terms of both customers, tech innovation and team development. Earlier this year ANS’ new product offering; RAPID Converged Infrastructure and RAPID Private Cloud was launched to tech leaders across the country. RAPID was created on the back of customer feedback, in response to market research and customer demand. ANS Chief Technology Officer and Technical Director, Andy Barrow was individually recognised for his outstanding contribution to tech at the awards. Andy was among only three other winners who received the sought after accolade of ‘Outstanding Contributions’ to tech. Among his frequent appearances at partner, industry and televised events, Andy and his team were the thought leaders behind the development and launch of RAPID from ANS.

This year also saw ANS’ largest Flexpod deployment within the public sector, making them the obvious choice for award recognition. Essentia, the non-clinical services arm of Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, appointed ANS for its datacentre transformation programme, which will see the trust realise its ambitions to deliver a reliable, highly available paperless environment. The transformation will allow electronic records to be instantly accessible between departments inside and outside the Trust, meaning significant improvements in efficiency. It consolidates the production estate into a four-tier, service-aligned platform; the NetApp four-node metro cluster is one of the first of its kind in Europe.

ANS CEO Paul Sweeney said of the award:

“As always, we’re thrilled to work with a partner that shares our ethos and drive, and based on our customer feedback we’re continuing to do extraordinarily well together. Recognition in this area is especially important to us as partners are set some tough criteria, but we are up to the challenge! We continue to invest in our NetApp partnership through event attendance, staff training, and wholehearted adoption of their initiatives, and it’s an investment that has allowed us to develop a strong customer base, strategically grow our business and build a strong foundation for the future. Collaboration with NetApp has been central to our success, and recognition from them in these key areas is a well-earned reward for the team. This year our partnership with GSTT saw us win our largest ever FlexPod deal, when you add to this that the NetApp four-node metro cluster is one of the first of its kind in Europe, it’s clear that here at ANS we are leading the way when it comes to innovation within the FlexPod market. ”
