ANS Powers Ocorian’s Future Growth Through Azure Cloud
Background
Ocorian is a global provider of administration and compliance solutions, serving 9,000 clients and £275bn in assets worldwide.
The organisation delivers fund administration, corporate services and private client support for asset managers, financial institutions, corporates, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Technology underpins accurate and timely delivery across fund administration, securitisation, accounting and entity management. In highly regulated markets, Ocorian uses technology to strengthen compliance, supported by ISO 27001, ISAE 3402 and SOC 2 Type II certifications.

Challenge
As Ocorian’s use of Microsoft Azure accelerated, the technology team needed to move beyond ad-hoc growth and establish an enterprise-grade foundation for a future-facing platform.
The priority was a scalable, cost-effective and secure Azure environment with clear partitioning between workloads to meet differing client requirements, while improving governance and cost visibility as the estate expanded.

Solution
ANS worked with Ocorian to redesign its enterprise landing zone around both current requirements and anticipated future growth, then implemented the new baseline across Azure.
The engagement included migrating existing services onto the new landing zone with zero downtime, applying proven best practice to help Ocorian operationalise governance, workload segregation and cost management from day one.

Outcome
Since implementing the landing zone, Ocorian has increased Azure usage by approximately 500% while maintaining clearer separation between workloads and tighter control of the overall estate.
The new foundation provides improved governance and visibility across Azure workloads, enabling more granular cost controls and ongoing optimisation as new services are added.
The Azure estate has scaled from 2 subscriptions to around 19, supported by a consistent baseline designed to accommodate further growth.
