Our key highlights at Channel Live 2023

Channel Live has always been one of the key events in the channel calendar. Channel Live is a two-day event that connects IT resellers, MSPs, service providers and Channel partners face-to-face with vendors, distributors, and speakers from across the sector.

After recently launching our new partner programme, we were excited to attend to get to catch up with the industry, discuss key trends and topics, and speak with other experts about our channel updates.

If you didn’t make the event, not to worry, our Indirect Sales Manager, Ryan Martin, has put together his 3 key highlights at Channel Live:

Reconnecting with the channel

As always, Channel Live is a great opportunity to meet with partners, create new connections and engage in thought provoking conversation about tech and changes in the channel.

Over the two-day event, we had some fantastic conversations about the exciting things we’re up to and what they can expect to see from us this year. We look forward to working with our partners and discuss how we can grow together, further support them, and expand on their own product portfolio.

The changes in the industry

There were some fantastic panels which delved into thoughts on the changes and challenges that we have in the channel. Many within the channel are seeking to make the move from fixed line connectivity and telephony to cloud based services and are looking for a partner that can help them on that transition pathway. Ryan said; “It was clear from the conversations at Channel Live that the upcoming PSTN switch off is creating wider opportunities beyond traditional comms and telephony. Channel Partners are engaging in more and more conversations with their customers about transitioning services to the Cloud and are looking to lean on suppliers’ expertise to make this transition simple and as low touch as possible.”

At ANS, we offer our cloud, security, and digital services to enable all our partners to build their perfect proposition and generate additional revenue. Depending on your cloud competency, we have different partner types to suit your needs and how you’d like to work with us – and we are continuing to expand on this.

A digital future

As expected, one of the hot topics at Channel Live 2023 was the 2025 switch-off, which is now just around the corner. This presents an opportunity to provide digital solutions to the market as we transition. It’s important to prepare and embrace the change. Digital networks, cloud-based systems and services will provide your business with the opportunity to upgrade the way you communicate and enable to work more efficiently. Ryan explained; “Cloud, Security and Digital were hot topics throughout the two days with the immergence of ChatGPT and other AI solutions getting the most creative channel minds thinking about how these tools could be implemented to their propositions”.

It was great to discuss our plans and how we want to work together on this journey. We’ve been working so much closer with partners and ensuring we’re providing them with as much marketing, tech, and customer support as possible so they can get the most from us. We’re building on over 25 years of experience making cloud simple for our partners and customers, and we’re committed in investing further because this is an area where we can add significant value.

We will take the time to get to know your business and understand how we can best support you to build a successful partnership. Find out more about what we offer our partners on our ‘Channel’ page.
